In over 30 years of professional performance, Hotshot has had no incidents where it was needed. Hotshot adheres to strict safety practices common in film, TV and stage production. [See SAFETY below.]
PERFORMANCE AREA:
For full Armed & Hilarious
Show a 25' x 25' area is needed. Cleared of obstructions. For other shows a 10' x 10' area, cleared, will
usually be enough.
You might ask yourself... What time is the show? Is there
lighting? Will we need a sound system?
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hotshot needs light and an audience.
That is all. However...
For the full show and for
crowds larger than 75 people a sound system is recommended. This
needs a CD player and standard mic input. [Hotshot supplies his own mic] A sound
system can be supplied at an additional charge. Hotshot can also plug into a DJ's system if there
is one near the performance area. It will usually be more cost effective for you to provide the sound system at the venue.
TRAVEL:
Outside Arizona
To estimate these costs, look at flights from phx airport [Phoenix, Arizona
SAFETY:
Hotshot uses NO LIVE AMMUNITION in any
shows, ever.
However,
some of the blanks used do contain a black
powder charge that can be dangerous at close range. The recommended safe
distance for these blanks is 20
feet. For this reason, when discharging blanks in a show there needs to be a target area
established with no audience closer than 30 feet and/or target backdrop. This can be one side of the performance area. If so, the stage
left side is best [left side when standing on stage facing audience.] Hotshot never compromises safety issues. He adheres to the same kind of weapons safety practices used in the film industry. If you would like to learn more about firearms safety issues please click here: firearms-safety
CONCEPT:
Here are a few tried and true
aspects to think about as you plan your event.
You can use Hotshot and his team to:
~ Wow the crowd with stage shows of the highest
caliber.
~ Meet and greet guests.
~ Wrangle guests to activities and events.
~ Provide interactive entertainment with strolling entertainment,
games, contests and other activities.
~ MC activities or events.
Finally, when planning the time line of the event consider
that shows work best when there is a natural lull or when attention needs to be focussed. As an opener
(Convention, seminar, party, corporate event), before a key speaker, near the end of a meal, in between
activities (meal and dessert, Band/music breaks, transitions to other event or
activity).
